Getting the MJPEG streaming work a piece of cake. I was not happy with the MJPEG frame rate … I found 2-3fps far too choppy for my liking.

  • adding a Raspberry Pi Camera
  • adding MJPG-Streamer so Elf streams what he sees over WiFi
  • adding a ramdisk for MJPG-Streamer so it won’t wear out the SD card

This article is about logging illumination levels to an IoT service using some inexpensive Light Dependent Resistors.

I tested three LDR’s with different pull down resistors at the same time to see which would give the best results with low and high lighting levels, and posted the Python code for logging to the ThingSpeak IoT service. Plenty of charts for you 🙂
