Banana Pro Review
A Closer Look
Here is a closer look at the top of the Banana Pro:

Note how the top of the board mostly has connectors and passive components on it.
And here is a closer look at the bottom of the board:

In the middle we have two chips providing 1GB of DDR3 memory, the A20 chip, WiFi module and power management chip.
Now let’s take a tour around the Banana Pro, looking at each side.

From left to right: Audio/video jack, microphone, and 40 pin GPIO header.
Here you can see the original Banana Pi stacked on top of the Banana Pro.
Note the larger GPIO header. I wish they did not move the relative position of the GPIO header!

On this side we have: power button, reset button, and micro USB OTG jacks on top.
On the bottom we have the WiFi antenna socket and the uSD socket.

On the side opposite to the GPIO’s we have a SATA power connector, micro SD power jack, SATA connector and HDMI connector.

Finally we have the Gigabit Ethernet jack, dual USB host ports, and an IR receiver.
